Lenovo Touchpad Settings

2012-12-25, 21:47 PM

So I just got this computer and it is more high-tech than I am used to so maybe this is simple, but I have a Y series and the touchpad is driving me insane! When I swipe to the side, things pop up on the side of my screen, I cant click a scroll bar and scroll down or click and drag ANYTHING, and every time I try to move the mouse in a downward direction, it pulls up automatically all my tabs? I just want to be able to move my mouse downwards without things popping up all over my screen. How can I change these settings? There is no simple start button to go to on this thing and the manual did NOTHING to even try to cover this topic. Please help!

Same issues.............just as frustrated.  How do you turn off all these "Advanced Features" and give me back a simple dumb cursor that just behaves like a plain old cursor............nothing else, please.

Are you using Win 8 or 7. Because if you are using 8, it is most likely bring up what is called the "charm bar".
