Lenovo Y500 Energy Management

2015-02-11, 5:11 AM

When I choose the option of balanced and optimised battery health, my battery level no longer decreases down to 60%. It used to before but it doesn't any more. Now it just stays till 100%. However, if i unplug the power source the battery levels do fall.

Any solutions?

Hi Divineduke,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with battery in your Y500 laptop.

Please try to perform battery gauge reset and check for the issue, go to energy manager and select battery tab, under battery tab select run maintenance. Under maintenance select perform reset under battery gauge option and check for the issue.

Also try to install the energy management and check for the issue .
