Lenovo Y510P HELP!!!

Guys, Please help me, im in desperate need of help. I recently got a Lenovo Y510P, and it came with no OS. and it is giving me options ie: dvd, usb, ect. But i have the sli version. In that case i have no dvd bay, and i am currently broke, so i have no way of buying a code for windows 8, nor do i know how to even get it on a flash drive! Is there anway i can get windows 8 on my laptop, without spending alot. And how to get windows on a usb, Thank You!



There was  backup with the onekey setting i found, but everytime it reaches 40% done retriving, it says that files are missing. Im not sure if this can be used, but PLEASE HELP!

You will need another pc to make a bootable USB stick. I'd advise getting or borrowing a 16gb USB. Then follow this guide:


For the windows key, should be stored in the bios settings or windows will automatically detect the OEM.

Did the system specify that it is being shipped without an OS?


If not, then you should contact the seller to provide you with the OS, since even your OKR is not working.


If you willfully bought the laptop without an OS, I can only advise to create a bootable USB using another system, just like iDesign mentioned and use it to install windows 8 on your laptop. Not sure if there is a key in the BIOS that will activate your system though. (There should be one, but it cannot be determined unless you start to install windows 8)
