OKR for Windows 8 doesn't work

2013-03-06, 16:58 PM

Hi all;

Need your help on how to fix the Lenovo One Key Recovery (OKR). My Z500 comes pre-installed with Windows 8 (full stock Lenovo HD) and have the OKR8.0. The Lenovo OKR8.0 is functioning well until I modify the Windows8_OS drive. For obvious reasons I splitted the 884GB drive into two partitions: one of 150 GB (C:) for the OS and another one of 734 GB (D:) for the data. I did the operation with Partition Master without format the drive. When I tried to do a backup of C: drive with OKR it comes an error: "The system can not support the backup". Now...how to fix it in order to keep OKR working again? When I tried to boot, using NOVO button, into recovery it boots in Windows 8.

Could someone please help me?

I'm not really skilled in computer so, please, be patient and simple.

Thank you

Once you re-size or format the C: partition OKR will no longer work, there is currently no fix as far as i know.
