OneKey Recovery is incompitable with Windows 7.

Hello,

 

I got Windows 7 Upgrade copy and installed it. But it is not compitable with Onekey Recovery and Easy Capture software. Any one have idea about this problem?

You don't exactly need it. Put the drivers on a flash drive or CD and just use the Win 7 install disk. You're better off doing this because you won't be installing all the bloatware that accompnies the onekey recovery. You can download easycapture again, it should still work, or if you'd like or use something like yawcam.

 

Basically you just want to:

 

Save important files to whatever medium.

Reformat to create one partition. You can do this in the installer. Remember, this erases everything on your disk.

Reinstall Windows 7. Wait for it to restart a couple times.

Install drivers as needed. You shouldn't need to install much.

Install Chrome or Firefox. Install flash.

Re-install whatever else you use.

Enjoy your bloat free os.
