PLEASE HELP

2015-01-14, 11:34 AM

It was bought for me my Ideapad on 5th November from John Lewis i didn't receive it till January as we live in france and we went to visit family in England then i picked it up .

I didn't start to use the machine until the second week of Jan due to having Bronchitis and not feeling well enough.

I have started to use it and found that the battery is only lasting for  30-45 mins also it doesn't seem as fast as what everyone who left reviews about said .I have also noticed that the machine is not a fast as what the reviews  said

I have tried to phone the english help line and i am getting told the number doesn't exist !

Please can some one Help me

thanks

Shut off your unit but leave it plugged in to the ac outlet. Leave it there for two to three hours for the battery to fully charge. After that you can test how long the battery will last. Don't forget to recharge after your test.

For the slow problem leave the system alone to finalize the settings and OS updates. Then report back later on if there are no improvement in the speed.

That's what I have estimated. The manufacturer specs is based on certain conditions so it is different from the actual. Unless you have an Apple unit the actual value is 33% of what the manufacturer have provided. You can increase the value by tweaking or fine tuning the unit's OS.
