Plugged in not charging issue.

2012-07-30, 16:56 PM

Hello all,

Now I've checked other forums about how to fix this type of issue and nothing seems to be working for me. Whenever I try to disable/uninstall Microsoft ACPI-Compliant, it will enable or reinstall itself whenever I reboot. And the only way I can uninstall it is through it being disabled. My battery is stuck at 24% as I've also tried to change the output through energy management.

I did seem to fix something as the light to indicate that the power source is in now lights up, however, it still blinks from time to time. It isn't a problem with the outlets. And whenever I remove the AC, the machine shuts down entirely.

I've also tried to update the BIOS but I cannot because my battery is below 30%.

So anythoughts?
