Problem Installing Windows 7 in my Lenovo Y410

my previous os is win xp...i upgraded to win 7 but,,i donno ...maybe its crashing here ...when i start the laptop it say the BROADCOM ROM is exiting...it say failed to load media...i tried with the new lenovo installer software...but it say they dont identify my problem..n no driver found..im a bit confused here..help me admin..thnx

I believe it has something to do with your boot priority selection. Go into the BIOS configuration and set your optical drive as 1st, and your main hard drive as 2nd. If there is an option to disable the "Network Boot" function, please do so.

Alternatively, you can go into the boot selection menu (hit F12 upon boot) and select your hard drive from the list.
