RAM upgrade z50-75

2015-11-06, 9:44 AM

I recently bought a lenovo z50-75 laptop (AMD FX-7500 CPU, Lanced 5B3 motherboard,  and thinking about RAM upgrade. Currently I have 4GB of RAM (Ramaxel RMT3170MN68F9F-1600) and I find a 8GB module (G.Skill F3-1600C9S-8GRSL Ripjaws RSL). They both work on 1600 Mhz if I'm correct and 1.35 voltage. My question is, do these RAM run together, or should I take out the 4 GB module to run safely?

Re: RAM upgrade z50-75

hi Reav3n,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

This should work as it runs on a low power voltage (1.35V)

the only thing that may not work is the dual channel feature as your RAM are not identical.

Hope this helps
