Did you download package yourself? It Does Not have mentioned lines. Because CHINA version of Slidenav has it in single package, european version - does not (Anyway, the second package is just adobe flash plugin).

Means you are wrong.

Up.1: My bad, the links apparently got fixed.

Up.2: Nothing is fixed. You are still wrong.

You are wrong. It might work. Even without special intervention.

@edisonpuma

It sais so, because you are lack of synaptic's slide.dll (or similar, dont remember).

Follow my lead here:

1. Install y560 Synaptics driver (it has this dll).
2. Install y560 Lenovo Power Management.
3. Install y560 Slidenav.

THIS actually might work.

Try and post result.

What I would absolutely LOVE to see would be fore the zip/unzip thing prompt for a password lke the screensaver. Then it wold be awesome for me at college.

As it stands now it is just a gimmicky thing that looks cool to show off a few times, and that's about it.

I'm on my way to discovering how to mod this installer.

I extracted the package, and found that the installer first looks at the app SyDriverDetectorX64.exe or the 32 bit equivilent, before running. Lenovo's site is slow, but I'm going to try replacing that driver detector with the one in the Y550's installer. I just don't know the returned values, so it's easier to do it this way.
