Video memory of AMD A10-7300 R6

Hi everyone! I have a Lenovo Ideapad Z50-75 and I was wonderring if the shared video memory can be increased. Does anybody know?

The sharing size is done dynamically. If you can find an option in the bios mostly it pertains to legacy video operations only.

Yes , it can be increased , is a function of kavery hsa architecture but, the bios is locked and the lenovo's thecnical departement is based on a cage of monkeys  and give us a fuking bad setted ,unchangeable, bios and no monkey work to fix or put some advance option in bios (see z50-75 gradient color problem and the lenovo's monkey departments solution).

Too bad you don't have some scaling options in BIOS if you've got 12GB or more memory bumping the video memory would be useful I am sure. But as you say its a Lenovo design. LOL

The chipset namely the APU has OEM selectable parameters. Maybe they need to address and increase some for the system to perform as it should.

 

Locking the video down as a one fits all doesn't necessarily work.
