What can I do with my caching SSD drive and how can I make the most of it?

2014-06-24, 11:03 AM

y500, windows 8.1

I would just like to know the different ways to use my caching (D:\) drive to its full potential.

Thank you in advance for anyone who comments.

Caching is not intended for user's purpose/use but for system use only. So don't try to mess with it because the system operation will be affected.

D Drive is not your cache drive either, take a look in disk manager and you will see a drive with no drive letter, that is  your cache drive. D drive is just a partition of you 1 TB HDD and is part of the lenovo backup stuff, that is unless you went in and formatted the cache drive and assigned a letter to it. If you did then you lost the cacheing feature and it is just a small SSD now.
