Y400 Brightness Problem

2013-02-04, 4:02 AM

So I just got my Y400 for Christmas, and I cannot change the brightness setting using my keyboard's FN up or down commands, the power settings, or the windows 8 sidebar. I can however change the brightness settings in NVIDIA's control panel. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi

Thanks for the post.

As per your concern you are unable to change the brightness of the screen using the keyboard function keys. To diagnose, I would suggest you to please update the Power Manager software and Graphics driver of your system from the below mentioned web link.

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS033346

Afterwards, please restart the notebook and check if the issue resolved.

Regards,

Sameer
