Y410 7757 model

2008-03-29, 6:53 AM
Hi all

My laptop is less than a month old and seems to be hot particularly on the left side of the touchpad where my leftwrist rests on when typing.  I wonder what is the problem and can this problem be rectified if I bring it down for servicing?  Thanks.

Hi all,

just a check with you guys on where is the Lenovo Service Center situated in Singapore? Can't seems to find a link anywhere to tell me where it is situated at.

By the way, my laptop is on warranty, can i send down to the service center to do a servicing and maintainence check? Because i would like to do a full thorough maintainence and servicing before i use it again. It seems like when i was using it, the IE will hang when i have 2 or more tabs on before i close it. I wonder what is the problem... any user experience the same problem? Please advise.... Thanks!!

Bro, think the serivce center is at bukit timah shopping center.
My Y410 also tends to have a hotter feel on the left hand.
Its where the hard disk localated. Ace* and compa* seems to have this problem too.
I also intend to bring in to see if they have a better solution. Its kind of uncomfy.
After i updated the Bios, the cooling fan seems to be stronger but the heat still there.

Bro, update us if u come back from the service center. :mansad:
