Y510P - Touchpad not working, accidently disabled??

2015-08-11, 7:30 AM

My touchpad isn't working. I can't get my cursor to move or click. I might of accidently disabled it but after doing research Fn+F6 should enable/disable it and I tried it and it's not working. I upgraded to Win10 the day before that, it was working until earlier. Help?

I've also seen this site http://superuser.com/questions/698154/windows-8-1-disabling-touchpad-with-usb-mouse-but-does-not-persist and when I go there I don't have anything listed. I don't have Elan Smart-Pad or anything. What's going on? Did Win10 mess something up? I didn't do anything besides that and it was working after the update. But like a day later it isn't.

Dear johndoe,

Welcome in lenovo community,

Till now there are no drivers released for this machine compatible with windows 10,

so my advice to you, try to uninstall the touchpad driver from the device manager >> restart the machine, then let the machine install/update the touchpad driver

Thanks to use lenovo community
