I don't think it is bad because i checked with nvidia website and they said Max safe temprature for their GPU is 120 C
and intel process is around 100-110 C
i tried playing red alert 3 on Ultra and AA 8 or 16(cant recall if it was there) but the highest setting and the highest GPU temp i got was 65.. i guess ultra graphics really differ between games?

GPU throttles at 97C and CPU initiates thermal shutdown when any core trips 100C.

Red Alert 3 is an old and not very demanding game so even at max settings it doesn't produce much heat.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the CPU throttles in games without ThrottleStop, so your temps on both CPU and GPU will be lower due to the shared heatpipe and fan.

97C is the default in the driver/vBIOS, which you can test for yourself. Just overclock and overvolt, then run Unigine Heaven. ;)

As rockykoston said... we may have got lucky with our laptops :| as i saw too many people complaining about heat issues even when not playing games and if they ran a game weaker than sniper elite they get 90-100,,,,

nah its not about that i get low temps too but when i push the system to the max ill get high temps , ultrabay gets to 97 and starts to slow down , cpu and gpu dont usually go too high as they start to slow down early specialy the cpu ... that starts slowing down when the gpu reaches 65 !  hmm funny that the fans never go to full power ... the onlyway is to some how cut the brown wire which i did for the gpu placing a thermal switch when my ultrabay reaches to 80 it cut of the brown wire and the fan goes too full power and conect it back when it cools down to 60 50 ,,,,, planin to do similar thing for the cpu but first i need to do the spring mode if u need i can put a pic of my ultrabay :)

the only way to increase the fan speed is by physical moding since the bios is locked .... dont decrese the gpu speed , whats the point of having a good laptop lol Capture.JPGas you see the termal switche is attached to heatsink and the wires are conected betwen the brown wire [ gray ones are extantion of brown ones ] so basicly this switch is closed till the temp gets  to 80 then it opesn [ which is like cuting the brown wire with drives the fan at 100% speed ] and when it cools down again it reconect them again ... do it at ur own risk but it works realy well for me oh btw is not too clean cuse im not electronic guy im just a med student who likes electronics lol
