Y510p intel hd graphics driver problem

2013-09-14, 13:13 PM

Hi,

I have a Lenovo Y510p laptop (59-390564), and i use Windows 7 64bit operation system. I install all driver for this model except the intel hd graphics driver. The Nvidia 750M SLI is working good with nvidia driver, but i want to use the optimus technology. I tried a few driver from lenovo.com and from intel.com but didn't work. When I try to install the driver, it says "Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements...".

What should i do?

I really appreciate any help you can provide

SLI and Optimus can't coexist since they're not compatible. If you want Nvidia Optimus, first disable SLI on the Nvidia Control panel then uninstall Nvidia drivers. Then physically remove the Ultrabay GPU. After that, install Intel HD drivers first. Finally install Nvidia drivers. You should have Optimus working completely at that point.

Ok, it works. Thanks :) Is there a way to use optimus technology with one nvidia card when the other card is connected?

None so far. I know that when you connect the 2nd card, the BIOS will automatically disable the Intel HD graphics and use the Nvidia even with SLI disabled.
