How do you even dare?! I am truly disappointed of your slight investigation if it might be considered as such! SHAME!

I said there might be a sliver lining, but this is just a slap to the face here. You really have just added the fuel to the fire.

@Andy_Lenovo, @Amy_Lenovo, please give us the contact information of those people who are responsible for this shameful excuse of a solution, then.

This so called "solution" really is a punch in the face of the customers and a not-so-nice way of telling them that lenovo probably thinks they are stupid.

No offense to the messengers, but as messengers, maybe you could forward the issue to the responsible places, laying out that this patronising way of customer "support" makes things rather worse than anything else.

(A not so serious) SOLUTION (in the best tradition): For those who still want a solution: Here's one: Close the lid. Tadaaaa! All banding is gone! Regarding working without a display: Trust me, skill comes with practice.
Oh, I just realised, you also don't have a keyboard then. But I am sure you can figure something out.

I spoke with other french people on community forum, and they have the same screen problems.

It's a factory problem. It's not acceptable.
