Z500: GeForce GT 740M Not working because of PCIe is disabled windows 8.1

2017-01-19, 8:48 AM

I have a problem with my second graphic card NVIDIA. I am running windows 8.1. I updated bios, intel drivers and nvidia drivers from official lenovo website but I cannot make my NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M up and running.
I select option to run my both gpu in bios so that part is fine as well.

I have read most of the forum post regarding this issue and none of them worked. I even used tool to wipe clean all NVIDIA driver parts and clean new install from official web site but nothing changes. When I enabled option to see activity of my Nvidia card in desktop it is always gray and says that there is no activity.

My laptop is Lenovo ideaoad Z500. I didn't change any of parts in computer.
Drivers installed sucesfully.
and my HWiNFO64 indicates as well that my NVIDIA is not working  and message is:
PCIe v2.0 x8 (5.0 GT/s) @ [DISABLED]

in another window of summary I find this as well:
NVIDIA SLI Capability: Not Capable

and this:
Video BIOS Version: Unknown
