Re: (Z570) Lenovo Energy Management for Windows 8

2013-03-02, 11:52 AM

Hi, Lenovo :)
I'm 15 years old, from Bulgaria... As most of my age I play computer games on my Z570, I make a little programs on Visual Studio... But now my "WORKING" 'touch button' bliking... And my Z570 is HOT!
I have Windows 8 since 2 mounths. And in my opinion Windows 8 is better than Windows 7 (for me)
And, please, LENOVO - FIX YOUR BUG OR GIVE ME YOUR FU**N SOURCE , I WILL FIX IT!!!!!!

I never will buy Lenovo product again...

Have a nice day....

It's been more than 6 months already. I think it is obvious, Lenovo is not going to fix this issue.
I can only join those who have already said, that they would not be buying another Lenovo product.

Good job alienating your customers, Lenovo.

I have a Z580 with the same issue.  I will never buy a Lenovo again.  I also have tried to get my warranty updated (it expires a month too early).  After calling Lenovo like 7 times, it still hasn't been fixed.

If they refuse to fix my issue, I will spend time to go to every major online retailer and write terrible reviews of all Lenovo products on their sites, in order to give people the TRUTH about Lenovo's terrible support.  I like the laptop, but if Lenovo refuses to back their products, I will make sure people know.  Good job Lenovo.

USB-C: Just cos it fits don't mean it works.
I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!

I would think at this point if Lenovo hasn't resolved the problem, they never will.  Nice to see my less than one year old Z570 slip into Legacy Support.  :smileymad:

Reminder # 4

Dear mark,

Where is the rebuild energy management software for ideapad z570? driver page shows same version(em80220.exe) with the same old release date of  6th Sep 2012.

Nothing changed. getting same error/flaws though it has been repacked but the fact is that error/flaws remained same. soft button on machine still blinks high and low at regular interval of second, it does not stay on "best battery health" mode, dust removal fan function slab disappears after first run of this energy management tool. same problem as it was in previous build/pack. Its not packaging problem.

should I send my machine (ideapad Z570) to your developer if you are not getting this model for testing purpose? If your developer division do not have this machine then please borrow it from us but for God sake test it and then rebuild it for final work without flaws.

Please re-check the complaint.

I can't believe this is still here. It's clear Lenovo will not fix this... but if I were them I'd have released a EM version with the "Optimized Battery Health" option hidden for Ideapad Y and Z models (mine is Z470). I mean: if the option weren't there nobody would have noticed the bug. They don't even think that way!

It's a shame Lenovo support is this bad since the machine is pretty solid and well finished.
