Re: Z580 And Voiding Warrenty?

Not from what I heard from tech support, from what they said, there is no problem changing the OS, won't void a 3yr warranty.
-Lenovo IBM T60 Intel Core Duo T2300 1.66GHz 4.0 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 Intel 945 Express Graphics. Win 7 Pro. 7 years and running

it won't void the warranty for hardware parts but in case the issue is with incompatible drivers or Lenovo softwares stops working then Tech Support can't assist you with that.  Let's say your default OS is Windows 7 and you upgraded to Windows 8 then your wireless connection doesn't work and there is no wlan driver for Win8 for your specific unit unless you roll back to Win7 Warranty support can't assist you.  Oh and if you can't roll it back to Win7 on your own you are screwed.

it`s a glue they call threadlock/screwlock it just makes it harder for a screw to come loose, it comes in various colors.
