hi lubeats,

Welcome to the Forums.

Are you referring to the hidden additional options in the BIOS (like in this image)? AFAIK there are no special combination keys to do this and these options can only be unlocked if you flash a modified version of the BIOS (which, unfortunately, is not officialy supported).

For backing up your current BIOS, check this article.

Edit:

Fixed the links

Regards

hi,

Good to know you got it working.

Check this article on how to flash your backup BIOS in DOS mode

Alternatively, if the machine is "bricked" (lights are ON, no display) then this article may help:

Great.

Tell me how can I get my InsydeH20 Bios from factory. Well, when I opened for first time my box of laptop. My current Bios is abcn96ww.exe Rev 5.0.

Is there a historial of version hidden maybe that you could send me?

Thanks in advanced.

Hello, I got a question. How Can I know what's the correct name to rename the Bios file to realize a InsydeH20 Bios Recovery

I read this guide
https://www.bios-mods.com/bios-recovery/insyde-bios-recovery/

and inside shows a link description
https://www.bios-mods.com/bios-recovery/

where mentions the name and extension should be bios.fd

Confirm me that if is correct to my Lenovo Z70-80. Thanks

The link pointed to by Neokenchi requires platform.ini to exist. However, it does not exist in the bios file found in the download site. Why is the OP claiming that it has succeeded doing the backup.

Can anyone clarify?
