I don't think that one will work in the y510p's M.2 slot. I found this image which shows the size difference.

As far as I know, what would be compatible with that slot is an M.2 2242 SSD.
Like these ones:
https://www.amazon.com/ADATA-Ultrabook-Compatible-Excellent-ASP600NS34-128GM-C/dp/B012ASBZEO/ref=sr_1_24?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1496766484&sr=1-24&keywords=m.2&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_four_browse-bin%3A6158693011
Or
https://www.amazon.com/Transcend-256GB-MTS400-Solid-TS256GMTS400/dp/B00KLTPUG4/ref=pd_sim_147_34?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00KLTPUG4&pd_rd_r=NRB6TJC2BSSDFKKNPB7H&pd_rd_w=ebOAx&pd_rd_wg=CaJgV&psc=1&refRID=NRB6TJC2BSSDFKKNPB7H

I'm also not entirely sure if the y510p can boot from the m.2 slot without some kind of special software/tinkering.

In the course of reserching to solve my own y510p issues I've read quite a bit about the y510p, I do recall the recommendation someone got on a different gaming performance focused message board was that the best performance would be achieved by mounting an SSD(non-specific about type) into a 2.5" adapter caddy(or using an SSD in the 2.5" format) and using it in place of the original HD. (They also suggested using the original HD as a second drive in an ultrabay caddy, which might be an option if you aren't also using the ultrabay for a second videocard for SLI)

I've read mixed results when attempting to use Windows 10 with the y510p, ranging from almost no issues(using Win8.1 drivers) to completely non-functional; Win10 isn't officially supported by Lenovo on the y510p. However Windows 8.1 seems to be quite stable on the system in my experience, and I think it would be suitable for most needs.

I probably would not try to install Windows on a drive in the y510p's m.2 slot, but I would probably buy one of the m.2's I linked to previously. Upon checking it seems SSD's in the 2.5" format have better prices, so if you are going for performance getting a 2.5" ssd might be the best option.

This 525gb 2.5" ssd would probably be my choice, doesn't seem too bad @ $159

Alternatively this 1tb 2.5" 7200rpm hdd gaming drive also seems to be highly rated. @ $72

I have decided to go with this hard

I have used the old one from same company with a good price

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M1NHCZT/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496924902&sr=8-1-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=seagate+firecuda+2.5&psc=1#immersive-view_1496924931384

It is not that fast I have tried hypered before 1 tb

So I need you to recommend one m2 ssd with 100$ at most from any website

That I can increase booting up and loading programs and games
