Removing the Ultrabay from the Y50/Y40 was a stupid move, you take the one feature that drew people to you and get rid of it. It's almost as bad as the fact that they hardly ever sell the adapters for the Ultrabay. Probably why they got rid of it though, they can't keep it stocked for some reason, poor management is my guess.

Heck, the only thing you could buy was the GPU ultrabay. Where are the Bluray ultrabays? Or the extra fans?

Yeah but the GTX 860 card is as good as gt 750m sli with a lower power consumption.
only problem is its lower gpu memory means a few games might not be playable at 1080p.

Hey there ive been lookingfor the gt 750m5p myself have found it from 3rd party sellers I found this it was the cheapest I could find. Don't know if it actually works since I haven't bought it myself

I got elevated to level 2 support after first getting a replacement ultrabay GPU, followed by sending in the entire laptop and it still coming back not working. Once at Level 2 support I complained enough that they just replaced the entire laptop for the newer version with SLI 755m cards.
