Hi Hallgrimur ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Based from the product specifications:

Memory : 16GB max  / PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3L, non-parity, dual-channel capable, two 204-pin SO-DIMM sockets

You may add similar specification of your current Hyn HMT41GS6AFR8A-PB DDR3L 1600 8GB with additional 8GB PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3L .

OEM recommended parts on page 67 item 13 , directions on page 41 of the hardware manual

Both CPU I7-4720H (Socket support - BGA/ Ball Grid Array) and GPU is soldered onboard therefore non upgradable.

You may edit out your serial number for your Y70-70 Touch Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 80DU (MTM80DU00E5MT) for privacy and protection.

Hope this help answer your query .
