I have not tested to change from GPT to MBR so I can't make comment on it. If you just leave it as GPT you can format.

well thats 1 problem but i have heard that you can formate a partition to use MBR but layout remains GPT and wont be changed so is that possible to do or will it effect anything?

Well you better ask the source of that info. AFAIK its either MBR or GPT but not both.

well it can be both since a friend had MBR format but parition layout was GPT he did it through a mac system so i know it's possible :/ since if i do MBR format it is a risk for it deleting it'self off the GPT partition layout :/

So you need a mac just to establish mbr in a gpt disk? Why would anyone be doing that?

no what he did is Layout is GPT but drive format type is MBR instead of GPT + GPT layout but it was some mac software he used and it was advanced stuff todo on it to get it like this

So you need some Mac help to achieved that? I would be interested to know if he can do that to C drive and maintain the OKR functional.

I have another question. Is it entirely impossible to repartition the C: partition without breaking OneKey Recovery? I really want to dual boot my system and another drive is definitley not an option. If I break OKR by splitting the C: partition is there any way I can "fix" it. By reformatting the split partition into one perhaps?

Look at the possibility of using hyper-v for that other OS that you plan to install.

I just installed windows 7 on partition C: in my lenovo y510p  while i keept rest of partitions intact :) so i was wondering will i still be able to use OKR? when i press OKR button while in off mode to restore my laptop back to windows 8?
