i like onekey recovery because i can reinstall my windows quickly. but after 8 months of not using it didn't work.

I click on system recovery and the pc just restarts, it doesn't boot in the recovery environment

I used from the pc settings>general>remove everything and reinstal windows and i got the same efect.( going back to the factory settings) but onekey recovery still not works

what can i do to make onekey recovery work again?

I think you know what's the cause of this problem. Referring to this link you made the following statement:

1. I think I make changes to partitions, i dont remember exactly what i did i didn't format
2. I tried instaling ubuntu dual boot but after that onekey recovery worked
3. windows works as usual just onekey doesnt

Why not give Lenovo a call? I think they are your last hope.

hi quick question i lost all my work on my lenovo y50 due to windows 8.1 getting corrupt (boot register, windows recovery etc all lost) ....the only drive that wasnt affected was my smaller recovery partition ....... I want to partition my c drive into a 200gb for windows and the remember for documents so that in future at least i  will be able to access my data etc.

Follow this:

amigotechnotes.wordpress.com/2013/12/07/recover-lenovo-one-key-rescue-after-resizing-partitions/

and

eightforums.com/installation-setup/39197-unable-use-built-asus-recovery-partition-8.html#post331590

so basically you change the messed up recovery partitions GUID to EBD0A0A2-B9E5-4433-87C0-68B6B72699C7 (to primary) and then you change them back to recovery partition GUID (DE94BBA4-06D1-4D40-A16A-BFD50179D6AC)

I was thinking of shrinking the Drive C partition and making another where I can fill with backups of the boot and Windows partition. However, it sounds like that will mess the current setup.

Re: new disk partioning and one key recover feature

Hi,

I have a Lenovo Z460 that Lenovo OneKey Recovery is not working. I have changed original HD of 640gb to a new HD of 500gb, because the original HD was damaged the the physical MBR, but was possible copy all partition to the new HD, OS and Recovery partition.

I can load OS normally, but I need recover system. I can execute OneKey Recovery program, but shows a message that program can´t find the recovery partition.

How I can fix it? Or I can´t use Recovery partition anymore?

Re: new disk partioning and one key recover feature

I have been trying to follow the steps laid out by LenBlazer on this post on my new Y50, and successfully ran ubuntu on my machine.

However, I only found an LRS_ESP partition. There was no partition named PBR_DRV. Any idea why this is so and how I can proceed to successfully create an OKR flash drive? I really need to do so in order to proceed with my need to partition Drive C.

Thank you very much.
