660M - No "Display" tab in Nvidia Control Panel

So guys, did Lenovo screw us over on this one thanks to Optimus or what?

Apparently no matter what driver I use, the y580 only uses the Intel chip for Display Scaling, so I can't do custom resolutions.

Anyway to override this thru BIOS or a custom driver or will I have to return this and demand a refund?

Re: 660M - No "Display" tab in Nvidia Control Panel

Alright, so an update to what I've found so far: You *can* set custom resoloutions within the Intel Graphics Properties panel (Advanced View) but any resoloution you set only gives you the "This custom resolution exceeds the maximum bandwidth" even though the HD4000 should handle it fine + the 600m handles 2560x1440 just fine.

Great.

Fantastic.

$1000 spent right here.
