Michael did not contact me, so I contacted him. (when Moses doesn't come to the mountain, the mountain must come to Moses!)

 

Michael admitted , he didn'tmanage to find a new machine within 2 days, as promised 4 weeks ago!

 

Michael suggested sending a check to my residence over here. This, off cause, took loooong time.

I suggested the money check being sent to my family in the US, which Michael told would be much faster.

After several attempts, Michael answered me today, that the earliest I could expect my family to receive the refund would be after November 12!!

 

Mark is there any thing you can do to make this soap opera ending sooner, since I by no mean can exclude, that this is being extended further?

 

Have today tried to contact  Michael by phone, - without luck.

 

May I have your opinion?

GOD!!!! I bought my Y450 on 10/25/09 today is 11/02/09, I just called lenovo in India!  The supervisor

Laticia told me I may get my Y450 @ 12/xx/09!   I am very upset now! I feel sad for this famous Chinese brand.

 

1. custom service in India

2. they told me they do not have custom service in USA.

3. they can not do anything make it faster

4. they just apologise all the time

 

basicly, nothing I can do! beside wait. Smiley Sad

I was just searching some general information about the new leaked out thinkpad, then I came to this blog and read your post,and your words made me decide to register today and tell you a piece of my mind,

 

first of all, I want to say how sorry I am for you,

not for your kapput notebook that you bought, but for the way you talked and acted here on this blog,

 

I can understand you upset you are, If it was me, to spend a lot of money just to find out in 2 days it did not work, I would be also very upset, but I totally disagree the way you deal with this issue,

let me tell you something, I live in Germany, and months ago I bought a siemens phone, it actually had problems, and it caused me also many troubles, but I do not start saying: siemens is bad, AVOID siemens,

 

if you are not happy about the product and the service, please let the company know, you can totally complain for the company and product here,

but I do not think you have the right to declaim here AVOID Lenovo, if you do not like this company and its product simply do not buy it, but you are misleading here, that is why I have to say something,

 

how many thinkpads and other lenovo laptops have you owed ? are they are trouble? you bought one and it got problem, then you started saying: AVOID lenovo? how narrow minded are you?

 

let me ask you, are you going to move on later and say AVOID product from China?

your anger has controlled you and you acted very inmature

 

why would I come up here and say this?

because I am a thinkpad fun, and I owed even a second hand lenovo produced thinkpad and it worked greatly.

I can not let you keep saying this horrible things about thinkpad without realising that you already crossed the border of from being a costumer to a very inmature person.

I am not sure, I understand what it is you are trying to tell me, or the community?

 

I understand you disagree with me in the way I deal with Lenovos's problem: No customer support, etc......

 

My only point in joining this forum is/was: If you read this thread, (before you buy/plan to buy a Lenovo product, then re-think, what you are doing. My advise is: AVOID LENOVO!!

 

If anyone had warned me, before ordering, I wouldn't have been in the situation I am in now, which I certainly would have preferred to avoid!

 

It's hard for me to believe that you joined the forum, only to tell me how bad I behaved on this matter?

 

Siemens customer support is not to be compared with Lenovo's. You can't compare apples with pears!

 

Offcourse I don't like you telling me I am narrow minded, so see if you can keep it at a non-personal level please?

 

Are you working for Lenovo?

 

My mistake seems to be, that I mistakenly thought Lenovo was the same good quality as IBM. This has been confirmed is not the case.

 

I am pleased  to know, you like your Thinkpad, but please remember, I did not buy a malfunctioning Thinkpad, but a Ideapad Y650.

I did not try to attach you by words, that is not my attention, when I said narrow minded, I mean that is the impression I get from reading all your angry posts here.

 

Is it true? if I say something good about Lenovo or thinkpad, you would suspect that I work for them, so the only thing to impress you is to talk bad about Lenovo like what you did?

 

my adivce: return this thing and never buy lenovo again,

but remember you can not deny a whole company only because of one product

 

yes I know you bought ideapad, but now you are saying: avoid all the products from lenovo, this is why I replied, and yes I got registered here only to reply to your post, because I never saw anything like this before, this post is ANTI-Rationality

it does not make sense for me to keep arguing with you, I love thinkpad, no mater it belongs to IMB or Lenovo.

I made my point, it is up to you whether my words make sense or not,

 

But two points

 

1, I did not mean to be unfriendly at all, the narrow minded part was not meant to be

2, I completely support  you  to get a decent answer and solution from Lenovo

 

so let's our discussion stop here, as I did not know this forum until today, I guess I was too ready to fight for my thinkpad reputation Smiley Happy

Maybe it would be more appealing to you if someone was to use a different approach such as in BUYERS BEWARE

 

In the end LENOVO will do the right thing.

I think this was a wise thing to do.

 

I did, - just for your information, - return the machine, when Lenovo, after almost 4 weeks managed to ship return labels.
