Ten minutes ago I received a message from Lenovo that there was a BIOS update. It said that I should close all files/programs and that this BIOS updare might require restarting several time. I clicked OK but nothing has happened. What should I do please?
(PS A similar thing happened a minute or two later about "Lenovo Settings has merged with Lenovo Vantage". I clicked to launch but nothing has happened. I'll create a separate new thread.)

I'm astonished, and very disappointed, that Lenovo still hasn't updated my BIOS. The Recommendations shown do not include my Y520.
Here's what I have: Lenovo 4KCN30WW 31/08/2017.
Is Lenovo having some kind of system failure?

Please don't waste your time on this problem. I completed & sent an On-line form a couple of hours ago to complain about the failure of this BIOS update.
I've had an email acnowledgement from Service UK firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll let you know the outcome.

Here's the email acknowledgment to which I referred:
I decided to chase them up so I clicked on their "Contact us" link. Here's their "reply"
I am not impressed by the problems and delays with getting the BIOS update - surely an important update - and now this nonsense. How can I contact Lenovo Customer Support Service??
If they don't reply soon I'll email a Lenovo executive.
