Black screen after update, can't enter safe mode, can't do nothing, tried everything.

Hi!

I have a Lenovo Y510 P with windows 10. After an automatic update, the computer turned off and when it was about to turn on it got the black screen, the fans are going and the keyboard backlight start, but nothing else. This happened before like 3 times but the eventually it just started working after 1-2 days of restarting the computer. But now I've had it like this for 3 week or so. Nothing happens and it doesn't respond to anything. Except that I can turn on and off the keyboard lights and if I have the battery in and take out or in the ac adapter the computer makes a beeping sound.

 

I've tried removing the battery, external devices and the ac adapter and then hold the powerbutton down, no success.

I've tried pressing the F-keys to enter safe mood, but nothing happens.

I've tried pressing the Lenovo recovery button, still nothing.

I've also tried to install windows with a usb but nothing happens.

 

I'm at a loss, does anyone know anythin more I can try??

Hi JNE , 

 

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

Seems it could me more than just an update that should only be OS limited.

What I would do is to remove the harddrive and memory sticks . Try using one RAM stick to test on each slot and see if that would access the BIOS to turn it on using the Novo button for BIOS update. 

Try to go to the exit tab on BIOS menu to load the defaults assuring that OS is optimized on the proper OS.

 

Update us how it goes.
