The model I chose to buy on Lenovo's website stated that the product came with Bluetooth Version 2.1 + EDR. Pressing Fn + F5 to view the wireless devices only displays the Wi-Fi. I attempted to install the Bluetooth drivers from Lenovo's website to get the message, "There is no bluetooth device on this computer."
I initially posted my issue under another thread, but saw that it had been "solved." Please help!
Model - 41896MU
- Carling, with shiny new Bluetooth headphones with nowhere to go.

However, the specifications on the website for this model plainly state that it comes with Blutetooth.
I called customer support and they said that the model is too new and to call back later. Seriously?

I had the exact problem and finally found some solution..
Fn + F5 will not work untill Lenovo Energy Management is installed.. So install that first and hit Fn + F5 to see wireless on and bluetooth off.. set that to on and Windows will install the drivers automatically from windows update..
Or you can also use lenovo bluetooth driver

I bought Lenovo IdeaPad Y450 418956Q on 22nd January, 2010. I am facing the same problem, i.e., I cannot access my bluetooth device. I looked the Device Manager, it's not there! The specification says, it comes with Bluetooth EDR 2.1......do I have to get my laptop replaced or this model doesn't come with bluetooth at all ?

you have bluetooth module, ( it's the newest version ) but i think there's no available drivers for it, so, you need to wait for drivers.
