So I got my second Y410p today, after the first one had hardware issues on arrival, and I opened it, picked it up, heard that the laptop was making cricky and cracky noises as I picked it up, and so I turned on the laptop, and the screen was cracked.
Can I ask for a replacement for the whole laptop?

I thought that Idea support was open 24/7 in the USA, at least that's what is stated on the contact support site. In such circumstances I wouldn't delay and ensure that you retain all packaging material(s).
