thanks for the clear workaround. However, when trying to apply the code it doesn't work: If I take over the command line like this, I get a message that the command "/file" does not exist. Hence, the following code (adapted to my file ofc) cannot be executed.
When I request the file and run it without "/file" (just prompting the path), cmd asks me which "app" to use to open the file. It doesn't run the .cab-file in the command field itself.
Trying with the "DISM.exe" did not work either: When prompting "..DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath: ... .cab /sd /sn ..." it get back code 87 since the commands /sd /sn etc. cannot be applied.
How to run the .cab-file in cmd? When doing that it asks me to choose an app/programme to open that file. However, to apply your codes I need to run it in the cmd-field.
Any help would be greatly appreciated since without updating the BIOS I cannot use the laptop on battery.
Thanks a lot!
