Can the GPU in Lenovo Y510p be replaced?

2018-11-18, 3:59 AM

Dear all,

I have owned the Lenovo y510p since 2013. About a year ago, I frequently got blue-screens when playing games and sometimes, during usage of microsoft office. The proble resolved by disabling the GPU, but as a result i am now unable to play games.

Can the GPU be replaced? The rest of the laptop is still working fine.

Thank you in advance

The graphics card is typically soldered on to the motherboard, so in order to replace the graphics card, you'll also have to replace the entire motherboard.
