Caps and number lock lights inoperative.

2015-01-04, 0:46 AM

Help me out if anyone can.  My lenovo y500 has been having problems with the indicator lights for caption and number keys engaged.  They are the little indicator lights on the left hand front section of laptop.  I have reinstalled power mangagement software and intel chipset software and still no lights....does anyone know what my next step would be.?  Thanks

Hi Skippery500,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with Caps and number lock light not working in your Lenovo Y500 laptop.

Try to boot the system to safe mode and check for the issue.

Also uninstall the power management and reinstall the power management and check for the issue.

Click here for the power management for windows 7.

Hope this helps. Do post back if issue persists!

Best regards,
