I am planning to get this Charger (170w 20v 8.5a) https://www.amazon.in/Lenovo-ThinkPad-4X20E50574-170W-AC/dp/B00MLTQ99Y

&

the Adapter https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32975526334.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.27cb747e6TEc28&algo_pvid=a7db42d0-97cb-4a37-be7a-d19c44bddf73&algo_expid=a7db42d0-97cb-4a37-be7a-d19c44bddf73-0&btsid=8d6ee0f9-08e9-4474-b63b-cc751403b4c7&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_60

Will this combination work to run Both GT755m of Y510p?

Thanks

Welcome to the Community Forums Donz7733!

Sorry for the delayed response, just joined here recently and noticed your post.

Do you still need assistance about this issue?

It would be still recommended to use the parts that is compatible with your Ideapad Y510P laptop that's based on your device's hardware maintenance manual.

You may check page 102 of your hardware manual to see the list of compatible AC adapters that can be used for your laptop.

As for the items that you're referring to, we cannot assure or guarantee if they will work on the laptop even if they do have the same requirements (Watts, Voltage) though it would be recommended to contact the seller first and inquire for their return policy if in case those items won't work or won't be compatible with the device.

Hope this helps out.

Thanks!

Hi

Thanks for you reply.

Actually I was in a rush to get my 2 cards working, so

- I got an Lenovo 170w adapter with same power values but has Square jack at the end

- Cut out its jack & fixed my 120w adapter jack to it

?

And it worked fine

Later I purchased an 170w compatible adapter for y510p . Using this now. The above one I have it as a backup.

This helped me too
