I am having some issues with my y410p, and I'm thinking about wiping the hard drive and startng fresh. I am aware that this will stop OneKey Recovery from working properly but I can live with that.
My question is if I do wipe the HDD, will that void the warranty for it in the future? (I only have the standard 1 year warranty that comes with every purchase) If I run into an issue with the physical HDD will I still be able to count on the warranty/lenovo support?

If you format the HDD using one key recovery to get windows 7 back to factory settings "the day you got it" then it should not void your warranty but if you format the HDD using a differnet method and reinstall windows with a boot disk then it will void your warranty.
