Dolby Home Theater 4 seem to be missing since driver for windows 8.1 has been release.

Temporary solution for me is download the driver for windows 8 and install it.

Then download Y50 realtek driver and extract it.

You will see "PCEE4" folder. In that folder find "DolbyHomeTheater.msi" and install it.

DONE

hi ifrnndo,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Under Control Panel change it to Small icon view and you should find an icon for Dolby.

If Not first check if you have the program installed under Control Panel / Programs and Features.

Let me know your findings

Cheers!

hi ifrnndo,

Ok here's the complete step for a clean install of audio and Dolby.

Cleaning up

   1. Open Device Manager and uninstall the Sound Device under Sound and gaming controller,

Be sure to Place a check under delete driver software for this device

   2. Open Drive C: check if you have a folder named driver under C: (C:/Driver)  Be sure to delete that folder named driver.

   3. Open Program files and make sure there is no Dolby under it.

   4. Restart your PC.

Installation

   1. Download this Driver Realtek Audio Driver for 64-bit Windows

   2. Run the driver and Proceed with full installation of it.

   3. Now open Drive C: and you should have a new Driver folder on it (This came from the driver installation)

   4. Open that folder and you should have a folder there named Realtek.

   5. Check inside it and you should find a Dolbygui folder and inside it is Dolbyhome theatre or Dolby ht installer

Install that and you should be fine.

Let me know if you encounter something different.

Regards

Solid Cruver

hi ifrnndo,

Try browsing inside those folders and check if you can find the Installer.

AFAIK it should be inside that Driver folder or somhere in it

Can you try repeating the steps again but this time use this driver

Install that and you should be fine.
