Dolby v4 still not working

I have tried eveything possible to get dolby v4 working again and nothing works.  I am currently using the newest driver for the y50 on my y510p and I have dolby digital plus working but v4 just sits there and does nothing.  I can move all of the setting around but it doesnt change the sound and nothing shows in the spectrum analyzer.  Can anyone help me with this?  I
