Drivers Dolby Home Theater v4 for windows 7

2014-04-28, 9:34 AM

I have an Ideapad Z580 and i got this message every time i start my computer.

The message displayed is "The current Dolby audio driver version is 7.2.8000.17 and the software application expects driver version 7.2.7000.7. Please install a valid driver and software application combination.

Where can i find the correct drivers for this problem ?

hi Jalari,

Welcome to the Forums.

For  Dolby Home Theater v4 to work, it must match the required version by the Realtek Audio Driver. If this was working before, try one of the following:

1. Rollback the driver

  - open Device Manager, navigate to Sound, video, and game controllers

  - right click on Realtek HD Audio > choose Properties. On the "Driver" tab, hit Rollback Driver then reboot.

2. Re-install both Realtek HD Audio and Dolby Home Theater

  - open Control Panel (large icon view) > Programs and uninstall Realtek HD Audio and Dolby

  - open Device Manager, navigate to Sound, video, and game controllers

  - right click on Realtek HD Audio and choose uninstall (check the box that says "delete driver software") then reboot.

  - download and install  Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.1.6559, reboot the PC and test

  - if the Dolby Home Theater v4 interface is missing, navigate to C:\Drivers folder.

 -  on the drivers folder, navigate to the Realtek HD Audio then Dolby GUI folder and Install the Dolby Advanced Audio.

Re: Drivers Dolby Home Theater v4 for windows 7

Hello,

I had the same issue on my Z580/Windows 7. I followed your guidance.

I did download and install  Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.1.6559, rebooted the PC.

I have Realtek Audio Driver folder under C:\Drivers folder. I do not have Realtek HD Audio folder under C:\Drivers folder

I am not able to find Realtek HD Audio then Dolby GUI folder at C:\Drivers folder ==>  Realtek HD Audio then Dolby GUI

How do I get Dolby Advanced Audio for install?

I am getting "Please install correct audio driver before using One Key Theater" during start up. Is it related?

How/where do I  get correct driver for One Key Theater?

Thanks for helping.
