hi ravisurapaneni,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

What you can do is to try the functionality of the arrow keys, Since the Fn seemed to work fine with the down arrow and right arrow, You have to check the left and up.

You can try hitting the Start button to pull up the start menu. once its pulled up try pressing the up arrow only it should move the highlighted option up and left arrow only to move the highlight sideways

If it does move using the up and left then try and uninstall Lenovo Energy Management Software under your programs

Then Download it here

Lenovo Energy Management Software Windows 7

Lenovo Energy Management Windows 8

But if it does not move with the up and left arrow its a possible Keyboard Issue

-Try  Draining power

- Remove the battery and then disconnect the AC adapter if connected.
- Press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds then release it.

- Reinsert the battery and then reconnect the AC adapter.

- Turn on the computer.

if it still did not work I would say contact Lenovo Tech Support for Assistance

hi ravisurapaneni,

In addition to what Solid_Cruver had suggested, can you try to:

1. Boot into the BIOS by continuously tapping F2 on startup

2. In the BIOS, press F9 to load default settings and press F10 to save and exit BIOS (this refreshes the CMOS settings and hardware config of the devices connected to the PC).

3. In Windows, uninstall the Lenovo Energy Management from the Control Panel > Programs and reboot

4. Reinstall Lenovo Energy Management below and reboot

Lenovo Energy Management Software
IN8STW09WW5.exe
13.4 MB

If the problem is not resolved, backup your important data consider doing a factory reset using the One Key Recovery button (this will isolate if the issue is software side (OS)).

If the problem persist after doing a factory reset, there's most likely an internal problem and you need to contact lenovo for service.

Hope thish elps.
