Welcome to the Community Forums.


If the event was caused by any accidents, then an accidental damage plan bought separately can help cover parts and labor for in-warranty machine. You can call in technical support to assess the situation for you if needed.


For out of warranty machines, service centers like Best Buy or Microcenter may be able to proceed with repair on users cost but does saves you the shipping fee. If you have the tools and skill then you can search for the part number of affected parts here and review the hardware manual for disassembly steps.
