Getting blue screen error 0x000007b upon booting ?

2015-03-24, 3:58 AM

Hi everyone,

I get the following blue screen error " 0x000007b " when trying to boot my Y50-70.

I modified the laptop by cloning my HDD with all the OS files to a SSD ( Samsung evo 500gb) and I replaced the original HDD with this SSD.

It worked fine for three months prior to this.

Can someone guide me as to what I should check please ?

Kind Regards,

Hi Izy92,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

As per the query we understood that you are facing issues with blue screen error in your Lenovo Y50-70 laptop.

Try to reinstall the operating system and check for the issue, take a data backup before reinstallating the operating system.

Hope this helps. Do post back if the issue persists!
