Hello everyone,
Where to start. So I started having issues with my Lenovo z510, about a month after the warrenty expired (go figure). At the time I thought the issue was the DC Jack, so I replaced it and it worked for awhile. Then the problem came back after awhile. Havn't replaced the jack again because it doesn't seem to be the issue anymore.
Now to the issue. Right now when the computer is plugged in it doesn't charge. I'm running Parrot OS. I installed Windows 10 and downloaded the battery firmware, updated the bios to v40, made sure the airplane mode is off and conservative mode is off as well. I have also verified volts through both adapters (replacement and original). Now the computer doesn't charge when on. When I first plug it in it charges for about 30 seconds and then shuts off. When the computer is powered off the computer "charges" to a "full" charge according to the battery symbol. However, it displays the error that the battery may be faulty and that its at a 5% charge.
I have ran linux tlp and verified its running in A/C mode. However the only thing I havn't done is replace the battery. But it doesn't seem like it would be the issue given everything I listed above.
Here is the TLP breakdown, am I reading the battery being BAD correctly????
