Please tell me a way out. I have a Lenovo Y 500 series laptop and after about 2 years (not under warranty now) the Hard-disk crashes. How do i get the softwares and recovery partition back whcih had come pre-installed at the time i bought it.
Please tell me if there's a way i can get it without much cost.
Thanks in advance.

Only Lenovo has the resources to configure your hard drive with the recovery partition and the preinstalled OS. You will have to contact Lenovo phone support and ask about this service, and unfortunately it is not a free service.

even though your computer isnt under warranty, you can still call tech support,
they will take your computer for 5 business days and reimage your system aswell as replace your HDD with a
factory standard HDD.
normally you would pay for a HDD and 49$ for the work order setup.
