I appreciate that this question may have been asked but I have never seen the answer.
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Z580, i3 running Windows 10 Home 64 bit. The HDD wasn't cutting it so I decided to upgrade it. I got my SSD the 'Sandisk Ultra II Plus'. Upon installation I am unable to anything with the new drive.
Lenovo customer service wont help and I have no idea what to do. I thought I would just put the drive in and go into Boot Menu and select my USB and start installation but no.
The lenovo logo would not even appear. If I press the small button by the on button it says Novo Button Menu but nothing happens if I select an option. Even if the old hardrive is in (which still works) and I attempt to access bios it just boots into Windows.
I am left feeling completely helpless and since the laptop is easily out of warranty (bought 2012). I can't do that
Any help would be appreciated no end
