Mine isn't working whatever I tried. Device Manager shows it as an unknown device and neither driver update nor Windows update helps to make it work.
I suppose this is because of the Lenovo is not supporting Windows 10 for Y500, which is extremely disappointing.
Or did anyone manage to make this SanDisk U100 mSata SSD work with Windows 10?
(If there's no hope, I'm planning to buy an SSD to replace the HDD and disconnect the mSata).

Sorry for the delayed response as well, just joined here recently and noticed your post.
Y500's OS can't be upgraded to Windows 10 since it's not supported by Lenovo.
This is the reason on why the mSATA SSD is shown as an unknown device on the laptop.
There are some users who have tried to upgrade their Y500 series to Windows 10 but are reporting that it's not working well with the device due to compatibility issue.
You can definitely check this link to see the list of Lenovo devices that's tested for Windows 10.
