In considering this upgrade, I also ran across this page:WIndows 10 Upgrade Guide - IdeaPad and Lenovo Notebook.
Section 3 "Application Limitations - Applications that should be uninstalled before upgrading" has a huge list of software that Lenovo says to uninstall. Did any of you upgraders follow that list? If not, did you have any issues?

Hey Guys, I upgraded to WIN10 about 7 months ago and everything works fine except for my Intel Widi... I had Win8.1 before and it worked just fine (actually it's still on a second partition and works perfect). There isn't a thing I didn't try to fix the problem!!!
I know nobody who has the Z70-80 so your my last hope ...please could u check if you have the same issue? (Intel can't/won't help) I can't talk to ANY support anymore or I'll shoot myself

Sorry, mine's equipped with "Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Wireless Network Adapter" and I haven't had any issues with it. (Actually, I was really surprised at how painless my upgrade was.)

Has anyone hit the problem where the laptop goes into sleep mode in about a minute after w10 upgrade on the Z70-80? I upgraded some of the drivers but the one called Advanced Config & Power Management ACPI dated 2/2/16 does not install. I click to install and it just does not start up or quits right away without any errors. I found one area where the upgrade set the screen saver to 1 min so changed that to 20 min but no effect. Is there any list of drivers versions available to ensure the right level on each of the system drivers vs just the list of available drivers on the support page?

I had a similar problem, but I'm not sure if it pertains to your question. When I had a TV hooked up via HDMI, it would go to sleep in a minute or two (not sure exactly) but far less than my 10-minute display-off timer and 3-hour sleep timer. In this case, the fix was to go to "Control Panel / Power Options / Change Plan Settings / Restore Default Settings For This Plan." Just for good measure, I also did "Change Advanced Power Settings / Restore Plan Defaults," but that may have been redundant.

I did the upgrade from 8.1 to w10. Also, I did the Intel chipset drivers update dated on 4/11/16. The problem I'm having is not new to just Lenovo. There are other makes and models with similiar problems with going into sleep mode when the settings are even for 20 mins or never. I did get a Sony laptop to finally stop with one fix on the screen saver screen where they changed the default to 1 min vs. 20 min on the older window versions. But that did not fix my problem on the Lenovo Z70-80. I don't like the ACPI driver not installing from their driver support page. That one might be a problem since power management might be the program that controls the sleep mode. I did see under installed programs a couple of programs called Windows driver package - Lenovo (ACPIVPC) version dated 9/24/2013 184.108.40.206 and Lenovo (WUDFRd) version dated 7/25/2013 10.30.0.288 not sure why they are so old.. but may not be the problem

You might have to call tech support for a solution. Maybe an old version needs to be uninstalled first or use their OneKey update tool to do it. I am not sure. I am using a old desktop with Win 10 on it and other than figure out how to do things its quite good when things are working. Faster loading by light years.. I wish lenovo would update their download files to fully test ones and the video pack is so old (9th month of last year) wow.
One day this summer but not yet. I am a bit shocked at the difficulty with that driver though its a recent version.
