Headset jack was not work properly can i change the output to mic i am using y550

      can i change mic jack as output device other wise can i replace sound card for my lenovo y550 laptop . please told me that sound card cost please i am just facing this problem for 6 months.....,please tell me......,

i don't think it's possible but have you tried another headphones? ( maybe it's related to headphone )

Dude wouldn't it be cheap and easy just to buy a usb Headset device? I can't believe you could't figure this out in the 6 month?
